Yer Mom was a band from Blacksburg, Virginia formed in 1986. All of the members were current or past students at Virginia Polytechnic Institute (VPI). In that era, there were only a couple “hard rock” bands in this conservative, mainly rural area despite being a large state university. Blending thrash-style punk rock, metal and classic rock influences of the day, they were able to make a recording worthy of the name. My Weed records is proud to represent and manage Yer Mom so that their accomplishments are duly immortalized.
